Reduced heat and UV
LEDs emit minimal Ultra Violet light (UV). UV light attracts insects and can be harmful to skin, clothing and artwork. Heat emissions are greatly reduced with LED, which means they are cool to touch and perfect for heat sensitive applications.

No disposal costs
LEDs also provide a green alternative at the end of their life as they contain no harmful chemicals. The Mercury contained in just one fluorescent lamp is enough to contaminate 30,000 litres of water beyond safe drinking level limits.
